This is an amazing opportunity to join a crew of like minded individuals to shred the deepest powder of your life and discover the best that Niseko has to offer with a mix of lift access and backcountry touring. You will stay in a stylish backcountry lodge in Niseko, where you will be picked up daily and taken to wherever has the best pow based on snow and weather conditions. You will shred deep powder, be taken to Niseko’s best onsen, eat delicious Japanese meals every night and get cheap drinks at our own nightspot, The Brick Bar.

To keep you safe, you will have a lead and tail guide daily, who as a bonus are both professional photographers. One will be taking photos for the entire trip and the other will be developing a short video for you all to remember it by. This is the holiday of your dreams!

Itinerary:

Day 1

You will be picked up from Chitose airport in the morning and once everyone has arrived we will drive you to Niseko in the afternoon. Once in Niseko we can either take you to hire your backcountry touring equipment at Rhythm Summit or you can go for an afternoon ski at Niseko United (lift pass will need to be purchased separately). We will then all go out for dinner for a meet and greet, have some drinks at The Brick Bar and finally be taken home to settle into the accommodation.

Day 2

The first day will be a lift access side country warm up day. This will be an opportunity to warm up the legs, get plenty of fresh pow without having to earn your turns and an opportunity for us to get to know you and your style. The resort we take you will depend on where there has been the most amount of snow overnight, and may be Niseko United, Moiwa, Rusutsu or Kiroro. The day will be finished with an optional onsen and dinner at a local Japanese restaurant.

Day 3

This will be our first day backcountry touring and we will pick you up bright and early to ensure we get the best snow available and get to all our secret zones. On this day we will take you to wherever is best based on the snowfall, weather and avalanche conditions. Our aim as always is to get you the most amount of pow you could possibly experience on that day. We will finish with an optional onsen and dinner at a local Japanese restaurant.

Day 4

This aim of this day will be to try and summit the infamous Mt Yotei. Whether this is doable will depend on the weather conditions as it needs to be clear to safely access the crater of this magnificent volcano. We will swap days in this itinerary as needed to follow the weather. If all is in our favour we will leave at 5.30am to ensure are one of the first to the top. If we can’t summit Yotei on this day then we will take you to wherever is best on the day and ensure we find you just as steep lines. We will finish with an optional onsen and dinner at a local Japanese restaurant.

Day 5

If the Mt Yotei summit the day before was successful then everyone’s legs will need a rest, so this day will be a little more mellow. We will still take you on a lift access side country tour to focus more on fun and powder and ensuring everyone is getting great lines all day. As usual we will finish with an onsen (for those who want one), drinks and another delicious dinner.

Day 6

On day 6 we will step it up again to find steep and deep lines, and maybe even send you off some pillows (if your game). Where we go will again depend on weather and snow conditions, but rest assured we will take you to all our favourite locations (which we cannot reveal on the wide world of web). You will come home beaming from this day with many more photos of you shredding super deep pow to take home to be the envy of all your mates. This day will finish with a little gathering at The Brick Bar with the camp team and NPG staff.

Day 7

On your final day we will leave early to get to Kokusai Ski Resort in the morning where we will ride the untouched side country runs of this fun little Japanese resort and further explore into their backcountry zones with potentially a bit of touring after lunch. Once finished we will stop at Jozankei to freshen up at an onsen before dropping you back to Chitose airport that evening.
